What do we offer?
Individuals
Sessions are offered in voice, piano, guitar, drums and bass guitar.
Musicians are trained to play their instrument with excellence and finesse. Once the basics have been learned, our focus is to equip artists with the necessary skills to perform in a professional environment.
In the ‘real world’, vocalists need much more than just their voices, and will learn skills that will enable them to work with musicians and hold their own in both rehearsals and performances.
Cherry Blossom Music teaches musicians & vocalists skills such as:
- reading/writing chord charts
- musical sensitivity
- interpretation
- transposition
- transcribing
- arrangement
- aural analyses of music
- performance
- mic technique
Groups
Cherry Blossom Music is passionate about developing and mentoring existing groups, whether it be bands or vocal groups. A band can have all the right elements, but unless they play as a unit, and their music is arranged effectively, they will never stand out from the crowd.
Besides termly sessions, we offer once-off sessions for bands/duos/groups, offering sound, objective advice.
